C. Liaigre
9.23.11

Christian Liaigre is my Lady Gaga and I am so bummed because I missed the president of Christian Liaigre, Christophe Caillaud, speak today because of work. So bummed. If you went, please let me know every word that was spoken! Sooooo to make up for it, let’s go to Le Sereno, a hotel designed by Christian Liaigre in St. Barths.

A fresh beginning for the weekend

Crisp, white and fresh from Pamplemousse design.

Love this series of art above the sofa and the orgone table by Marc Newson!

Rustic

Some goodness from Erin Martin Design.

Look at those perfectly rectangular stacked stones!

Great ceiling here. Love these zig zag floor lamps from Jielde.

Serge Mouille sconces.

I <3 you

Awwww. Why have art when you can have polaroids in the shape of a heart? Love.

White lacquer, stainless steel, and marble counters…yum.

Tamizo, whoa

The brilliance of Tamizo Architects.

Floating envelope of steel stairs…so cool.

Gorgeous bookcase/wall! The lighting is effervescent.

<3 this light white oak flooring.

Fun!

Leroy Street Studio

The goodness of Leroy Street Studio

I cannot tell if there is water under this wood flooring section, but this is pretty pretty amazing.

Interesting ceiling.

More wood on the walls!

Beautious view!

If I could wrap every surface in wood, I would. Stunning wood wrapped staircase by MCK Architects. I also like the slight variation of tone between the wood flooring and wood walls/stairs.

Simple. Classic. Beautiful
9.19.11

This interior by Gilles & Boissier is such an effortless mix of classic form with a modern material palate. Swoon!

The moldings in this apartment are stunning not to mention the disappearing drapery panels and romans.

I have to say that I am in love with this chunky natural abaca rug paired with these tailored white and grey slipcovers on this herringbone floor. It is absolutely perfect.

Christophe delcourt table? The composition here is just right.

My fav, a banquette wrapped around the dining table.

Ethereal. This sconce is amazing… love it all!

Paris pied-a-terre
9.17.11

Steven Volpe’s Paris pied-a-terre is pretty much a gallery of notable furniture.

Ok so here we go, we have a sofa designed by Christian Liaigre, a lounge chair designed by the Italian trio Grassi, Conti, and Furlani, stainless-steel Rock tables by Arik Levy, Jansen vintage stool, not to mention some gorgeous Parisian boiserie and herringbone floors.

Christian Liagire floor lamps. I am really loving the contrast of the luscious grey silk drapes.

Hanging light fixture is by Nathalie Pasqua, and the sconces are by Artemide. 1940′s Italian vintage chair.

Mohair throw, Christian Liaigre floor lamp. I love this idea of a floor lamp next to a bed.

Some more John Pawson…everything about this is perfect. The linear aspect, the integrated stone sink and the hidden cove lighting.
