Studio M
5.14.12

The gorgeous Beverly Hills residence by Studio M and think pure. I think this is a good way to start our week, no? Full of inspiring beautiful details and perfectly curated.

So soft and enticing. I love the pairing of the unusual bench with the Christian Liaigre sofa. And those doors are amazing! Thin framed steel doors and windows…swoon!

The pollock stool, a definite favorite!

So perfectly accessorized. Robert Bristow/Pilar Proffitt table from Ralph Pucci

Simply a gorgeous bathroom. Almost like it is carved out of marble. Loving the lighting detail beneath the mirror.

Stunning.

Capetown, major sigh…

Some more goodness from James Silverman. Major love for this project!

Floating concrete walkways…amazing!

I’m loving this gorgeous rustic modern outdoor furniture.

Such an unusual fireplace and love the use of the multiple oval tables spanning the width of the seating area. Not to mention that awesome vintage chair that is calling me!

It gets better and better…this live edge table! With these minotti phillips chairs! And this chandelier!! To die! Such subtle and warm colors of honey woods and textures of ivory.

Another fabulous fireplace.

Such pretty colors!

Gorgeous large pivot door.

Wow, just amazing. An overhanging deck over the pool…so very cool.

Yeah, yeah
4.25.12

This is the coolest photograph I have seen all week. The angle is so original and the lighting is absolutely natural and whimsical.  Such a beautiful mix here too with the Saarinen tulip table in marble, tulip chairs upholstered with a gorgeous green fabric and romantically beautiful and soft white drapes. Beautiful simple grey porcelain floors.

Now this is my kind of place. Interesting ceiling lighting detail, shades of greys and natural texture on the floor. Yes, please!

Monte Carlo
4.17.12

I am traveling this week to photograph a project and I am so excited to share it with you! While I am away, enjoy this fabulous Monte Carlo house by Timothy Whealon.

Game table and chairs custom made in the style of Jean-Michel Frank.

I am in love with these vintage Milo Baughman chairs from Homenature. Perfectly paired with the Saarinen table. On the wall is a photograph by Marie-Laure de Decker. Moroccan-inspired wallpaper by Phillip Jeffries.

Cabinets by Strato. Love this soft mix of the creamy limestone with the grey cabinetry.

Limestone stairs.

Let’s make today interesting…a space for TV producer Darren Star, renovated by Mark Rios of Rios Clementi Hale Studios and decorated by Waldo Fernandez of Waldo’s Designs.

Love this kitchen! Gorgeous finishes and windows. Bulthaup kitchen and Dornbracht fittings.

Very interesting combination. Paul Evans dining table and 4 chairs, Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann rosewood armchairs and Venini chandelier.

Ed Ruscha painting and a circa-1940s Moroccan carpet from Mansour. Also loving the chair in the corner!
