Renovated Barns in the Hamptons
10.31.13

I’m obsessed with this home. The property is made up of various different renovated barn structures from the mid-18th-century. It is owned by Adelaide de Menil (photographer and an heir to the Schlumberger oilfield-services fortune) and Edmund Carpenter. This is my dream for a mountain house. I think it is absolutely gorgeous. There are 14 barns in total scattered throughout the property; various guest houses, a main house, a pool house etc.

Visit
10.23.13

I was honored to be asked by Alissa Swedlow of Swedlow Design and The Goods Design blog to join her “Ask an Expert” series and answer a few questions about interior design. Check it out here! One of the questions was “What are some of your favourite interiors?” It was super hard to narrow things down, but here is one of the images that didn’t make it. I just love the juxtaposition of the old world detailing and modern furniture. These windows are also to die for!

Elm Park Road, London
10.21.13

I just discovered Michaelis Boyd. He has created some of the most gorgeous London renovations and of course, can’t forget, he is the behind behind the Soho house in Berlin and LA and the Byron burger chain. This project is his Elm Park Road project…so cool.

This looks like the best room in the house. What a cool hideaway.
