Chic in Palm Beach
11.13.12

I am really loving this interior. It is fresh, chic, casual, streamlined and warm all in one. Kelly Klein’s home in Palm Beach, FL. Designed by David Piscuskas of 1100 Architect.

Vintage Hans J. Wegner chairs, a casual lean restoration hardware sofa, and my favorite coffee table of ALL time…the diesis table by Antonio Citterio! I love the juxtaposition of the chunky textural abaca rug with the clean hard lines of the coffee table and the softness of the sofa. LOVE!

The light fixture over the dining room table is by Workstead, and the seating near the fireplace is by Urban Zen. Love that outdoor fireplace by the way. I am very much appreciating the wood cedar ceilings, and teak doors. Radiant heat warms the cement and white limestone underfoot in the living area.

Another favorite, the FK 87 Grasshopper Chair in the corner. The length of the drapes are perfect…just touching with a hint of puddle. Gorgeous ceiling detailing with the drape track recessed and disappearing.  Wide-plank limed oak for the bedroom floors.

Restoration Hardware linens. What a cool photograph…a Flip Schulke photograph of Muhammad Ali.

Teak framed glass doors.

This stainless-steel standing shower by Marcel Wanders for Boffi has such a sense of humor. The area is enclosed by cypress walls and gates.

Something Special
9.27.12

This is a gorgeous project by Chamberlain Javens Architects. There are a lot of surprising details within every image and it is a pleasure to travel through each room and feel its effortless charm. Enjoy!

How cool is this lounge? Love the cushions in this sexy red and the unusual sconce above.

Surprising and comforting color palate.

This is absolutely gorgeous. The richness of the wood, juxtaposed with the crisp white walls. Loving the streamlined fireplace perched on the rich ledge below.

Mater stools.

Lindsey Adelman lighting.

The pillowy-ness of those drapes is so romantic…sigh! And I have to mention that gorgeous millwork. Love the combination of the darkish wood flooring with the caramel wood.

Yes, powder room, you are gorgeous!

Love! What incredible marble. And I am obsessed with this wood, walnut?

These doors!!

Vicente Wolf
6.12.12

A light filled Manhattan apartment by Vicente Wolf.

So soft and pretty. TV speakers are something I don’t love seeing, however, I like how they mounted the linear speaker bar above the tv. Carpets by Warp & Weft. Walls are painted in Benjamin Moore’s Super White.

VW Home chairs and the light fixture is by David Weeks Studio from Ralph Pucci International.

More loveliness from Frederic Kielemoes. A masculine and powerful interior.

His lighting details are just brilliant…do you see how the light trough drips down vertically into the fireplace wall?

Sexy stairs.

Warm stone with a interesting movement and texture.
