This interior by Gilles & Boissier is such an effortless mix of classic form with a modern material palate. Swoon!
The moldings in this apartment are stunning not to mention the disappearing drapery panels and romans.
I have to say that I am in love with this chunky natural abaca rug paired with these tailored white and grey slipcovers on this herringbone floor. It is absolutely perfect.

I recently stumbled across the brilliant work of NY designer Pol Theis. He creates very interesting dynamic interiors with unexpected elements.
The relaxed romans add an informality and softness to the cubist nature of the Paola Lenti Atollo sofa. I think this is my new favorite sofa.
I really like the idea of floor to ceiling cabinetry and this lit niche behind the bed.
These babies kind of freak me out but I like the idea of clusters of objects perched on shelving.

I have been obsessing over this house for a while now and cannot believe I have not posted about it yet…This brilliant 5300 sq. ft. barn transformation in Remsenburg, NY by d’apostrophe design headed up by Francis D’Haene, a belgian architect was created for one of the founders of the Le Pain Quotidian. They literally re-engineered the whole structure, knocking down interior walls and creating a perfectly balanced minimalist + rustic interior. Can I please live here?

My fav fav clothing store, Heist, is right down the street from me on Abbot Kinney…yes, very dangerous. They recently moved into a new super cool space designed by Mike Lee and Deb Rumens of Chinese Jesus. They carry great hard to find designers like Isabel Marant, Brochu Walker and Pantofola D’Oro, among many others. I love everything about it and everything in it.
